Steam Train 2-6-6-6 H 8 - Allegheny
In 1942 the Lima Works delivered the first Locomotive "Allegheny" class H8 to the Chesapeake & Ohio Company, which had ordered a total of 60. The locomotive was used for hauling long trains on the routes of the Company. These locos were the heaviest on linked three axles ever built, their weight was in the excess of 333 t. Traction force of 50 t.
