Diesel locomotive D 341 FS Breda

Diesel-electric locomotive GR. D 341 of the FS, for freight and passenger service. A reproduction of the prototype D 341-202  built by (Breda Ferroviaria )on behalf of the Italian State Railways D 341-202 STATION BREDA on behalf of the State Railways. Already in service for many years this locomotive has always performed a great job on the local non electrified routes, replacing where the steam trains dominated before. Fitted with a  Diesel cycle engine developing a maximum continuous power of 1,320 HP and up to the 1000 HP at the wheels.
