Electric Locomotive E 444-033 of the FS  Tartaruga  “Turtle” .

The Electric Locomotive FS 444-033  Turtle "Tartaruga", over the years this Locomotive has been in the Rivarossi catalogue, a reproduction that attracted attention due to the fact that it faithfully reproduced one particularity that existed on the initial prototype of that day.

This detail was the inclination of the front red marking which was different from the subsequently adopted version. Therefore another prototype the E 444 033 was introduced not only with a different running number but also the more common red marking on the front of the locos in running service. This addition therefore created though small, a variation on the number of models that one could have circulating on their layout.
